Rincon Band Offers More Amenities with $14M Casino Expansion

The Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians in California has started work on another casino expansion project.

The $14 million effort will bring a variety of upgrades to the Harrah’s Resort Southern California. More food options, revamped hotel rooms and additional meeting rooms are among the many changes in the works.

"Our team is constantly developing new ideas and resort amenities that will further enhance the guest experience here on property,” Janet Beronio, the general manager at the facility, said in a press release. “The newest additions to our resort will continue to give our guests an unparalleled experience expected when visiting a first-class resort."

The expansion includes SR76, an in-house brewery named after State Road 76, which traces a historical migration path used by the tribe. It will be the first tribally-owned brewery in the southern part of the state, according to the press release.

The tribe completed a $160 million expansion of the casino in the spring of 2014.
